MY REFLECTION SHARING THEME
"DAILY CHOICE & ELECTION OF CHRIST JESUS AS MY LORD AND KING"
Everyday of my life I choose, vote and elect Christ Jesus as my President, Guide, Ruler, Governor, Leader, Saviour and King for all eternity to direct,lead, protect, and govern me and my family's spiritual and moral lives and inform and guide all our decisions.
The official and public celebration of the Feast of the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe is consciously reminding me and affirming of Christ Jesus as my personal Lord,King and Saviour.
The First Reading (Daniel 7:13-14), tells me of one who “received dominion, glory, and kingship; all peoples, nations, and languages serve Him. And His dominion is an everlasting dominion.”
The 2nd Reading (Revelation 1:5-8), describes Jesus Christ as “the First-born of the dead and Ruler of the kings of the earth.”
And the Gospel (John 18:33b-37), recalls as the Lord Jesus speaks to Pilate, Jesus does not deny He is a King, but He says, “My Kingdom does not belong to this world.”
These three readings, as well as today’s Feast, proclaim that Jesus is the King, Who frees us, humanity, from the power of sin, reveals the meaning and purpose of our life, proclaims the truth in a world filled with lies/deceits, and frees and redeems us, humanity, from the power of sin and death.
Jesus Christ is the anointed Messiah, Who came so He might be my / our Saviour, Lord and King. But I/we must choose,vote and elect Jesus Christ as my/our Lord and King, for Him to take charge of that role and responsibility in my/our personal lives. I will do this choice, voting and election each and everyday by the decisions I make, the actions I take, and the words I say through the leadership and guardianship of God's Holy Spirit, and intercessions of the Immaculate Blessed Virgin Mary and guardian Angels.
I must therefore, with constant and consistent perseverance practice making the choice, vote and election of Jesus Christ to be my President, Leader, Governor, Guide, Saviour, King and Ruler in my / our lives. Each day I /we decide whether or not I / we will cast my / our vote for Christ the King. I will surely cast my vote, choose and elect Jesus Christ as my Lord and King on daily basis and for all eternity.
Rosemary IbazeboThe readings reiterate the Kingship of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the last, the SAME yesterday, today and forever.
I am reminded of the faithfulness and consistency of God. Many atimes, we encounter some difficult situations and we are tempted to think that Either God isn't there or He has changed. No. He is *consistent* and *faithful* in all His ways. He is King, and holds the whole world in His hands. Nothing happens without His knowledge, and what He says, that He does.
So we must hold on to this unending Kingship, faithfulness and consistency of our God, no matter what is going on with us.

Igbinazaka AngelaChrist is my King and I acknowledge Him daily in my life but sometimes I fail to keep to my pledged allegiance of staying faithful to my King and Master.
I am reminded once more that I must let Christ reign as my King and Master and also proclaim Him so that the whole world will come to know and love Him so we can be with Him enjoying eternal happiness and joy.

My Reflection from the Readings
The readings call us to understand and assimilate that the universality of Christ's kingship is better understood when he reigns in our hearts.
He is the king of the universe because he is king in our individual hearts. An acceptance to be a Christian is an acceptance to have Christ reign in our hearts. However, the question is, do we imagine the responsive or consequent actions when Christ reigns in our hearts?
The celebration of Christ the king is a call to conversion. Christ is not the king of robbers, but king of good people.
He is not the king of liars but king of truthful people. Therefore, if we must celebrate him as king of our hearts we must identify with the habits and the characters that he upholds.
May God through the maternal intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary grant us the grace to accept Christ truly that he may reign in our lives and families. Amen!

My reflection is on the kingship of Jesus.
What is the truth that Christ was born to bear witness to?
God is the truth.
Knowing God is knowing the truth.
The only way to know God is to know Jesus.
Jesus's coming was for us to know God.
Jesus is God and this is the truth.
We are the blessed generation because in our time God spoke to us through Jesus Christ.
Revelation says I'm the alpha and Omega says the Lord God,who is and who was and who is to come ,the almighty.
The truth is that the scripture and the doings of Jesus clearly shows that He (Jesus ) is God.
Come out tomorrow let's worship the king of kings and Lord of lords.
He is God and that's what it's.

It's indeed bad but somehow your sin brought God down in the person of Jesus Christ for us to behold him and know him one on one.

Yes you were born to reign like Jesus.... He is KING of Kings because you are King...."You are a Royal Priesthood"..... We are all First borns in this Kingdom of God, Jesus brought to us.

You are in a web of lies that makes you live a Lie, now how can you Reign ??
You are a Gossip?? Jesus asked Pilate "Do you say this of your own accord or did other gossip this about me" You don't reign by pulling others down in gossips, mockery and envy... We reign by Priesthood (Intercessions for others) He said to Peter "I have prayed for you.... strengthen your brethren"
Royals don't dress shabby and naked but u are more comfortable only when u were skimpy or seductive revealing dress, hmmmmm check if the other kingdom employed you as a nude Ambassador or Ambassador for seduction.
Slaves get into all forms of perversions, Pornography, Masturbation, Gay, lesbianism, and all forms of impurities considered scandalous to Great kingdoms of the earth how much more OF GOD?
What Situation is reigning over you, I ask again???
Are you terrorized by Infirmity?? Every Kingdom must defend herself against external influences...Remember Jesus our Model declared "All powers in HEAVEN and On Earth has been given to Me"....It has also been given to you.... Use your weapons for the Battle is not carnal sometimes. That woman bled for 12yrs even all kind of doctors have chop her money but she met Jesus
Our Kind of Royalty is only sustainable by Priesthood and Priesthood is about Intercessions and Sacrifices....it is about Service and Mercy.
Every Kingdom has a Language.... Truth is ours
Every Kingdom has a dress code.... Ours is Modesty and Purity
Every Kingdom has a Governor...ours is the Holy Ghost
Every Kingdom has an Emblem ours is Jesus Crucified.
Every Kingdom has a Constitution.... Ours is the Word of God
Every Kingdom has a Modus Operandi .....Our is Faith "for without Faith no one can please God"
Every Kingdom has their War Arsenal....Ours is the Blood of Jesus and the Words of our Testimony or Witness that Jesus is Alive.
Every Kingdom has an Emperor....Our is the Eternal Father.
The Feast of Christ the King is the feast of How Jesus restored our own Glory and Reign by his Priesthood, His Passion, Death and Resurrection.
Go out there Become Witnesses of Truth and Royal Priests set Apart to show forth God's Majesty in Jesus Mighty Name Amen
